The Talisman Project which incorporates Kenilworth Arts Festival, Bee Friendly Kenilworth, Kenilworth Horticultural Society and local traders, Kenilworth Books has been in place for the past 18 months working on ‘greening up’ Talisman Square, a privately owned public car park in the centre of Kenilworth. We have worked with funding from Kenilworth Town Council to improve the space, hang artwork, install a Living Wall, commission Butterfly Graffiti Art, engage with local Year 12 Students to develop a three-panel mural, as well as building planters around the edge of the car park and plant, water and maintain for the past 18 months. The Talisman Project is one part of the Festival’s commitment to the environment and contributed to making positive change within our community at a time it was needed the most.
