About the Artist

The Treetop Flyers are a London based five-piece folk-rock band whose music is suffused with echoes of the west coast sound of the late 60s and early 70s.  The band have been on the music scene since 2009 and were the winners of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition in 2011. Their first album, The Mountain Moves, was released in 2013, and was described by the guardian as effortlessly  capturing  the ‘spirit of late-1960s west coast pop-rock: the Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young’. The band have described themselves as going through something of a reconfiguration in recent years, with the members experiencing a variety life events leading to ‘a  period of upheaval’ that has heavily influenced their latest album, Palomino, which has been described as an ‘intense, cathartic record’ and one that is ‘every bit as good as The Mountain Moves.’
