About the Artist
Siobhan Wilson is a singer-songwriter based in Glasgow. Having spent several years studying Classical music and composition in Edinburgh, she continued her training in Paris, where she immersed herself in jazz and “chanson française”, listening to the music of Ella Fitzgerald and Jacques Brel.
Siobhan has established a strong fan base in recent years, having toured across the UK and Europe. She has played to packed venues such as Edinburgh’s Queens Hall and Glasgow’s Royal Concert Hall, played several major festivals (Cambridge Folk Festival, Wickerman, Belladrum, Celtic Connections), and opened for the likes of Lau, Idlewild and Eddi Reader.
Her debut album is due to be released this summer.
